The experience

We set off at four in the morning to sail around ten hours through the southern end of the Strait of Magellan, to one of the most remote corners of Patagonia.

    Humpback and sei whales, Peale's and Commerson's dolphins, penguins, sea lions, elephant seals and occasionally pods of orcas.

  • Cape Froward

Your day, step by step

Itinerary

  1. Check-in in Punta ArenasCheck-in at the office, José Nogueira 1255, at 4:00 a.m.
  2. Transfer to Bahía CarreraLand transfer to the boarding point, 50 kilometres south of Punta Arenas.
  3. Sunrise departureDeparture from Bahía Carrera and the start of the sail through the Strait of Magellan, with sunrise over Tierra del Fuego.
  4. Cape FrowardRounding Cape Froward, the southernmost point of the American continent, where the Cross of the Seas stands.
  5. Francisco Coloane Marine ParkWhale and wildlife watching, plus a visit to the Helado and Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa glaciers on Santa Inés Island.
  6. Return to Punta ArenasSail back through the Strait of Magellan and land transfer back to the city, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
