Soft Trekking Laguna Parrillar
The excursion begins along the Strait of Magellan to the south and then takes a gravel road that ascends to the entrance of the Parrillar forest reserve. The Parrillar Reserve is located 40 kilometers to the southwest of the city of Punta Arenas. It has over 18,000 hectares and was created in 1977 with the aim of protecting the Parrillar Lagoon, a water reserve in the area, where fishing for brown trout and rainbow trout is generally practiced. Once there, we will take a gentle hike of 1,5 kilometers bordering the Parrillar Lagoon and then through the Patagonian deciduous forest, where it will be possible to see other flora species such as calafate, sarsaparilla, peat, mosses and lichens. Among birds, we can see the thrush, the tiuque, the chincol and the carancho among others. The return is through the same path.
