Torres del Paine is known worldwide for the massifs that give it its name, giant granite modelled by the force of glacial ice. The excursion begins with a visit to the Milodon’s Cave, a remarkable cavern 200 meters long, 30 meters high and 80 meters wide located 25 km from Puerto Natales. At Cerro Castillo, we make a stop at a cafeteria and then continue towards Torres del Paine crossing numerous estancias and a landscape . On the way, it is possible to spot local fauna including the South American ostrich or Ñandu and the guanaco, a wild llama. TAfter entering the park, we discovered a series of intense coloured lagoons, mountains covered with ice and abundant local fauna.Then we will stop for a 15 minute walk to the Salto Grande on the Paine River. After lunch, we continue to Lake Grey, where we will take a walk to a panoramic point from which we can contemplate the icebergs and the glacier of the same name. Later, the return to Puerto Natales is undertaken by the same route, or by the road that borders the lakes Toro, Porteño and Sofía.

After a 2 hours drive, we arrive to "Hotel las Torres". After a safety briefing from our guide… the excursion can start! The track takes us up into the Asencio River Valley. 2 hours later we arrive in El Chileno Camping-site where our hike continues through a dense Lenga forested area, and little stream coming from the "Almirante Nieto" peak. The path brings us to a moraine where the slope steepens until the Paine Towers viewpoint, at 890 m.a.s.l (2,950 ft). At the viewpoint we will enjoy an incredible view of the three towers and have some time to have lunch and some rest for the way back. If weather conditions permit it, we will observe one of the most spectacular views worldwide. Return along the same path to "Hosteria Las Torres" where our bus awaits. To return to Puerto Natales
