In this package you can visit the town of Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine National Park, and Punta Arenas. The first day begins with a trip to Mylodon Cave and then continues on to Torres del Paine National Park. Inside the park, clouds permitting, we'll see the famous granite towers for which the park is named, along with lakes and ice-covered mountains, and numbers of birds and guanacos. On the second day there will be the option of staying in the town of Puerto Natales or taking another excursion (not included). Options include horseback riding, fly fishing, bird wtching, kayaking, a visit to an estancia (ranch), or a boat trip up to Last Hope Sound to see the Malmaceda and Serrano glaciers. In Punta Arenas we'll take a city tour to see the most interesting parts of the city, including a stop at the hilltop lookout at the "Cerro de la Cruz" fot the breathtaking pnoramic view of the city, the Straits of Magellan, and Tierra del Fuego on the horizon. Down in the city center we'll visit the Plaza de Armas, the Salesian museum "Maggiorino Borgatello" and the picturesque municipal cemetery, considering by CNN to be one of the ten most beautiful cemeteries in the world.
